Libreville, Monday, August 26, 2024 (Gabon News) – The Transitional President, General Brice Clotaire Olgui Nguema, launched last Saturday (August 24) the Nguni Grand Cross, the first edition of this year.
More than 500 runners from the youth, cadet, junior, senior and veteran categories took part in this sporting challenge, including the President and his wife. At the end of this peaceful and joyful cross-country race, the Head of State had to reward the winners in the different categories, who will receive envelopes ranging from 100,000 to 300,000 CFA francs.
Remember, the Nguni Sports Challenge took place in the presence of a distinguished guest, the Prime Minister of Sao Tome and Principe, Patrice Travoada, and some ministers from the transitional government.
Nguni town is the capital of Lekabilewolo province, located in the Upper Ogowe region.
