Sarajevo Kiseljac helps realize the most creative projects in four artistic fields.

In order to give all young artists in Bosnia and Herzegovina the opportunity to submit projects in the fields of painting, literature, theatre or music, Kiselak Sarajevo has extended the deadline for submitting projects. The competition entitled “Support Art, Start Culture!” is open to all creative people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who can submit online applications on the web platform www.prekulturna.ba from July 1, 2024 until August 15, 2024.

An expert jury will select one of the best works from each field (painting, literature, theatre and music), which will win a prize worth 4,000 km to realize the submitted project. The total prize pool for all four regions is 16,000 km. In addition, as part of the project, a limited edition of carbonated natural mineral water Sarajevo kiseljak in glass bottles will be launched, the funds from the sales of which will be used for these artistic projects.

The competition is open to all those who, professionally or amateur, practice some form of artistic expression through painting, literature, theatre or music and have an as-yet unrealized project that requires financial support.

“Our brand Sarajevski kiseljak has been working with young artists for many years and it turns out that there are a lot of talented individuals and groups out there who have great ideas but, unfortunately, never get the chance to showcase their talent or have their ideas see the light of day. That’s why by launching the prekulturna.ba platform we want to contribute to the cultural wealth of our country and inspire the further development of artistic projects, as we are aware of the importance of culture and art in the development of society.” – Points Dunja Durmo, Senior Brand Manager at Sarajevski kiseljak.

Sarajevo Kiseljak continuously invests in culture and works with young artists. It supports them, inspires them and makes their work accessible to a wider audience. Therefore, two years ago, Sarajevo sours started a project called #preKULturnaboca, which was successfully implemented together with the Sarajevo Academy of Fine Arts and the Banja Luka Academy of Arts. Students from both academies created the brand of Sarajevo sours based on their own generations and presented their vision for the future of the brand.
