China still faces some challenges in tackling pollution, according to Rafael Lucas, president of the Angolan NGO Minuto Verde.
The environmentalist was speaking about the World Anti-Pollution Day, which is celebrated today. Rafael Lucas revealed that the pollution situation in the country is “very worrying”.
Regarding national public policy, Rafael Lucas defends the suitability of environmental legislation to avoid large-scale pollution of Angolan rivers and seas.
When asked whether citizens have become aware of environmental issues, the environmentalist said much work still needs to be done.
The Anti-Pollution Day celebrated today aims to draw attention to the serious environmental problems we face and seek measures to curb the degradation of the planet.
