The mayor of La Paz, Iván Arias, announced the launch of the pavilion that will be set up at Expocruz at a press conference. In his statement, he detailed that the number of maraquitas that will be transported to Santa Cruz this time will be multiplied since last year’s success.

“Last year we started with three thousand Marraquetas and I thought they would get hard and we wouldn’t be able to sell them until the end of the fair, but, my God, we sold them in half an hour.
