The homeowner couple and the team of Mr. Le Van Dong (CEO of the company’s Ho Chi Minh City branch in charge of design and construction) spent a long time, from the end of 2023 to March this year, discussing, conceiving, finalizing the 3D design and starting construction and renovation.

The apartment’s “tropical garden in the sky”. The total length of the loggia from the living room to the master bedroom is 23.6 m. If it were as it is now, it would be the apartment’s private swimming pool. However, since there is no need to use it, the female homeowner wants to transform the swimming pool into a balcony with lush greenery.

“Filling a swimming pool and creating a tropical garden in the sky doesn’t sound too difficult, but the problem is that it must meet the technical requirements of the building. All stages of leveling and screeding must be carried out under strict supervision to ensure the safety of the building without affecting the entire system of the apartment building.” said the CEO of the design and construction company.

The old drainage system of the swimming pool was used as the drainage system for the new balcony floor. The miniature landscape was completely handmade, bringing a unique rustic beauty. In addition to this, there were steps such as refurbishing the floor, adding iron frames to hang lights above, and planting trees.

Small-scale natural marble was used throughout the balcony floor area, hand-pieced together to create a pattern inspired by the Dior brand. The construction team spent many hours meticulously connecting the small stones to create the exact pattern the homeowner wanted.

The apartment was originally furnished by the investor with a full set of high-end furniture, such as built-in cabinets by Poliform, bathroom fixtures by Villeroy & Boch, and kitchen appliances by V-Zug. The couple also purchased and collected many items themselves, such as Ralph Lauren lamps, John Richard dining tables and chairs, and many Chinese-style collectible decorations.

“So it was a bit difficult for us when the homeowner and his wife wanted to keep most of their belongings. However, after conducting a practical survey and listening to more details about their wishes, we created a combination of 3D drawings, changed the space, and remodeled the existing items to create a harmonious space,” said the male CEO.

The kitchen area is furnished with furniture in neutral colors, creating an atmosphere of elegance and light.

The living room area was expanded by adding a kitchen island. High-end furniture was reused by the couple. The entire gypsum ceiling, lines, wall paint, and lighting system were all made in accordance with the team’s unique design style to ensure the unity of the entire space.

For the master bedroom, the couple wanted the space to be very quiet and dark. Therefore, a long wall was added to separate the sleeping and dressing spaces. The team calculated the right amount to build a wall that would meet the right requirements, allowing enough space for a large wardrobe system and a handbag display rack at the back.

The room has a large loggia that receives natural sunlight and breeze.

The girl’s bedroom is designed to be feminine and gentle. The furniture is produced by the team according to the specific requirements of the homeowner.

Since the shoe cabinet and wine room are facing each other, the team had to find materials to ensure good insulation so that the temperature and humidity of the wine room would not affect the shoe cabinet. The exterior design of the wine cellar, the entrance door is a champagne yellow scratched stainless steel frame, and the cabinet door is a glass panel of the same color, creating a luxurious effect. The shelf frame is also stainless steel with the same color as the wings, but the shelf is made of high-quality ACODA wood to ensure that the wine placed on it has a stable temperature and limit the change of flavor during storage.

Transforming the original storage room into a wine storage area was also a challenge for the team. The team designed and used two air conditioners with variable frequency electrical cabinet systems to turn this place into a 24/7 cold room. Each machine alternates cooling every hour to ensure the service life of the system and does not affect the storage temperature of the wine.

In particular, the tile floor of the wine room is made of marble, which is completely hand-assembled into each small stone according to the inspiration pattern of the Dior brand. The team spent a lot of time to perfect it meticulously.
