Nearly 44 million people have wage calculation and payment violations
The Audit Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted an audit of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic and its subordinate institutions and found financial irregularities amounting to 149 million 944,200 som.
According to the department, 43 million soms 876,200 soms of this amount were due to irregularities in the calculation and payment of wages.
In particular, the following violations were found:
– Shortages of funds, stolen and stock items amounted to 1 million soms 110,600 soms. During the audit, 268,000 soms were seized and 738,500 soms are being checked by law enforcement agencies;
– irregularities and deficiencies in the expenditure of funds amounting to 1 million 145 thousand soms;
– Misuse of budget funds – 1 million 11,500 som.
Losses to reserves and budgets amounting to 147,528,700 som were also identified, including:
– The budgetary institutions are overfunded, amounting to 20 million 352,700 soms;
– Violations of regulations on the payment of wages amounting to 43 million 876,200 soms;
– Other reserves and budget losses – 83 million soms, 299,800 soms.
In addition, it was discovered that funds amounted to 7 million 460,900 soms were used in an unreasonable manner.
The audit findings will be forwarded to relevant government agencies for further action.
