The Sri Lanka Air Force and the Hawks Golf and Course hosted the Hawks Quad Cup, an inter-club golf tournament that concluded on June 29, 2024, in the stunning scenery of China Bay, nearest to the port city of Trincomalee.

Air Chief Marshal Udni Rajapaksa attended the competition as the chief guest. The competition was sponsored by DIMO as the main sponsor, Bank of Ceylon as the banking partner and co-sponsored by CATIC Sri Lanka, which made the competition more exciting and memorable.

Hawks Golf Course, Royal Colombo Golf Club, Victoria Golf Resort and Nuwara Eliya Golf Club competed for the championship, with each team consisting of 15 players, including at least two female contestants. The final score was determined by the top ten scores of each team. The commander took part in the first tee shot that marked the beginning of the championship.

Krishanta Fernando and Air Vice Marshal Sampat Wickremelathene won the Men’s Closest to the Hole and Longest Drive awards, while Ms. Sanduni Wansingha won the Ladies’ Closest to the Hole and Longest Drive awards. The Best Net Score and Best Gross awards were won by Mr. Haroon Aslam.
