DATEC has reopened its newly upgraded Pearson Vue Test Centre Select (PVTC Select), which it says will provide “the best international standard testing facilities to meet the growing demand for global certifications among technology professionals”.

“Our investment in this state-of-the-art centre reflects our commitment to excellence and our mission to support professional development in the community,” Datec CEO Vinit Nand said in a statement yesterday.

“The facility has been designed to the highest international standards and will serve as a cornerstone in building a knowledgeable team to tackle future challenges.”

PVTC Select test centers are ranked among the top 5% of Pearson Vue test centers worldwide and “adhere to strict international specifications for technology, equipment, configuration, administration, layout structure and certified personnel.”

The new facility will bring greater convenience to Datec’s customers, as candidates in the Greater Suva area who previously had to travel west to sit their exams will now be able to sit their exams locally.

“The capacity of the examination centres has been increased fourfold, allowing more people to take the exam simultaneously.

“It is noteworthy that this facility offers the most prestigious English exams, PTE, and other advanced exams that were not previously available in Suva.”

“The vision behind the upgrade from PVTC to PVTC Select is to provide a top-notch computer-based testing (CBT) facility that supports digitalization and adapts to the changing certification exam requirements.

“This enables growth and continuous improvement, ensuring people in Fiji and the region have access to the best possible testing experience,” Datec said.
