A hotel worker in China’s Nagqu region will remember this moment forever. The man was sleeping behind the counter when he was suddenly woken by a hungry bear. Miraculously, the man escaped unscathed.
The extraordinary scene was captured on multiple surveillance cameras. The bear apparently had no trouble opening the front door with its paws and then entering the building. The bear searched the hotel for food for twenty minutes before eventually making its way behind the counter.
The hotel employee was shocked to see the bear, but remained calm. Shortly afterwards, the man fled the building and tried to call emergency services. In the end, it turned out that this was unnecessary: the bear took a bag of snacks from the reception and left the building. No one was injured.
