Accept the challenge – this is the main motto of TechXplore, a hackathon organized within the framework of the project “TBC x USAID for Technological Education”, one of the partners of the project “Tegita Holdings”TechXplore, a technology event with different concepts and experiences, has begun and will last until July 6.

The aim is to facilitate the acquisition of experience working in cross-functional teams, the demonstration and practical integration of knowledge gained in projects, and the development of communication, collaboration and teamwork skills.

The Information Security Service of “Tegeta Holding” is involved in the project, and its head Ilia Kiliftari will guide the participating teams and help create innovative projects.

We believe that participating in events like TechXplore is very important because it allows us to raise awareness of information security and for students participating in the hackathon to take into account certain information and cybersecurity standards in any project they work on. In addition, this technological event will allow us to meet young people with innovative ideas and who we may employ in our holding in the future.”


The tech event will be held from July 3 to 6 and will be attended by about 150 people. Among them: Tech. Leaders, mentors and agile coaches. Teams participating in the hackathon will be recruited by the project organizing committee. Each team will have seven participants from different technical fields: DevOps; iOS development; React; Python; .Net; Cybersecurity; Information security; Blockchain. Each team will have an agile coach. More than 20 technicians from the above 8 fields will also participate in the process. Leaders and senior developers will provide consultation to participants during the four days.

The main task of the teams participating in the TechXplore hackathon is to work around an idea and create a technical solution for a specific project. They will have four days to complete this work, and the final project will be presented at a pitch meeting on July 6, when the invited jury will select the winners and hold an awards ceremony. Event partner companies will give gifts to the participating teams.
