On Tuesday, a Bulgarian woman was taken to hospital after falling from a height in Paola.
Police said the incident happened on St. Joseph Street around 5 p.m.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the 18-year-old woman fell from a two-storey building.
A medical team was called to the scene to assist the woman, who was then transferred to Mater Dei Hospital where she was treated in a serious condition.
Police are still investigating.
