It is understood that when Professor Echaveli and her husband, Mr. Perez Hernandez, died, they were going to their daughter’s house to slaughter a pig. They pulled the pig on a cart and the pig died on the spot.

“Both died instantly, because due to the strong impact they were catapulted several meters into the air, the woman fell on the pavement, and the man fell on the sidewalk, near a house where the car was traveling at excessive speed,” said an eyewitness to the tragedy and a resident of the area.

According to police statistics, five people have died in traffic accidents in Rivas province in the past five days.
