TBC Tech School: Easy learning, easy creation

Technology School This is an educational initiative of TBC. At Texkola, seniors master technology, gain first-hand experience, develop and master new skills, deepen interests, set goals, explore paths and, most importantly, choose something that really interests them.

TBC has established a fully funded Dexter School with the goal of raising the interest of the new generation in modern professions and providing them with useful knowledge for future employment or career development. Here, students from grades 9 to 12 from all over Georgia master various areas of digital technology and acquire skills that will help them develop their careers.

Texkol’s educational programs are designed for high school students interested in technology who live anywhere in Georgia and include: web development and programming, mobile app creation, digital marketing, graphic design, photography and videography, and UI/UX design.

In addition to mastering different areas of technology, participants at the Turks School also learned the basics of digital literacy. Marika Sikharulidze, Digital Citizenship Specialist at the USAID Civic Education Program, gave a lecture on the topic of “Digital Literacy.”

TBC partnered with Geolab to create Texkola, which now has more than 1,800 participants from all over Georgia. It is also worth noting that 15% of the participants in the spring stream have completed various courses at the Institute of Technology and are taking new technical courses here.

“I first studied the Basics of Technology course at Techskola, which helped me find my future career. At the next stage, I studied graphic design and web development. Now I try to use the acquired knowledge and skills in my everyday life” – Dachi Mekvabidze.

Continuing its support for the new generation and in conjunction with various educational initiatives, TBC will resume admission of senior students at Techskola starting from September.
