Petra von Kant’s Green Tears – September 27

Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s play “The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant” was written in 1971. The famous film was made in 1972.

The story of the melodrama transcends the boundaries of genre to become a more conceptual drama set against the backdrop of an intense love story, which raises themes such as loneliness, manipulation of other people’s feelings, obedience, freedom, etc.

The New Theatre Company will attempt to answer these questions in its choreography Medea.
