A child was wounded by a sniper from the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Taiz province in southwestern Yemen on Friday.
Local sources said the child, “Nasr Abdul Nasr Zeid,” was hit in the right leg by a Houthi militia sniper’s bullet while herding sheep in the Bani Silan isolation area in Makkabana district, where his family was displaced.
Sources said the injured children were taken to a hospital in Taiz city for treatment.
