According to Swiss media reports, a fake craftsman mafia network with links to the Kingdom of Switzerland, led by two German brothers, has successfully defrauded more than 1,000 people in Switzerland and neighboring countries. The total amount of stolen goods is worth millions of Swiss francs.

The network operates by creating high-profile websites offering urgent jobs, such as plumbing, locksmithing or pest control, and providing a local phone number to reassure potential customers. The craftsmen then go to the customers to fix the problem, charging inflated prices while lobbying for customers to pay directly in cash.

Swiss authorities have yet to comment on the matter or on possible cooperation with their Moroccan counterparts.
