BABANE – Young Zesh said his remarks about artistes causing traffic in the industry were directed at his enemies and not all creatives in the industry.
Young Zesh made the statement about artists creating traffic in the music industry during an interview on the podcast “What’s the Story Eswatini” hosted by Banele WJLM. According to Young Zesh and Upscale Live, the statement was directed at his enemies in the music industry. “When I say that some artists are creating traffic, they should go get jobs, I am sending this message to my enemies, not everyone. “I think people misunderstood what I said because only one person was concerned about it. Before, people were talking down to each other and saying whatever they wanted to say.
“I don’t mind what they say about me; I just mind my own business, but now that I’ve made a statement like that, people are concerned,” he said. The musician further recalled what happened before he was invited to the podcast. He mentioned that there were artists who approached him and left him emotionally hurt. “Everyone has enemies, and as artists, we have enemies too. My message is for my enemies. When I was getting ready to do the podcast, there were some people who I didn’t want to reveal their names because they would say I was exposing them.

“These artists were not rookies but experienced artists and they told me that they saw me telling myself that I was the best artist in the kingdom. They said they were coming for me and they wanted to push me until I fell. They also told me that I had no money and I was penniless. “They also asked me if I could buy them a bottle of wine worth 800 euros? It was their way of proving that I had no money. This incident hurt me emotionally, so my message was directed to these people,” the musician said.
