On the other hand, he said, “working with the private sector, The Executive Committee is committed to promoting the construction of slaughterhouses, logistics platforms, and rice and wheat hulling equipment The construction of storage silos not only along the Lobito corridor but also in identified strategic locations in the country to absorb the national production of cereals and grains such as maize, rice, wheat, sorghum and soybeans”.
“We are encouraged that we have managed to significantly reduce beef imports which drain our foreign exchange. Every effort must be made to reduce pork and chicken imports By increasing internal production”, João Lourenço announced.
Regarding the events related to the 50th anniversary of the country’s independence, the head of the administration stressed that “we have enough reasons to celebrate.”
President João Lourenço said that “the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of national independence will include political, cultural, sports, religious events, fairs and exhibitions, the inauguration of important public and private projects, etc.”
