SUVA, Lakeba, Kabara and Komo got off to a strong start in the Fiji Cricket Association’s inaugural Super 8s which kicked off at Albert Park yesterday.
The Capitals beat Namuka by 28 points in their first match and are leading the first-team standings with three points.
Also picking up three points in Group 1 was Kabala, who beat Ono Ilao by 91 points.
Como and Laccoba lead Group 2 with 3 points each thanks to their respective wins.
Lakeba defeated Moss by 25 points, while Comeau defeated Nadi by 192 points.
The action continues today with Moss taking on Nadi, Como taking on Lakba at Albert Park One, Namuka taking on Onoyirao and Kabala taking on Suva at Albert Park Two.
The match on both courts started at 7:30am.
