Czechs pay extra for Netflix, Max and Disney+ streaming services. The last of them recently announced changes to its price list.
“These changes will apply to new customers from October 17. Existing customers will be billed from November 21.” She said Disney+ spokesperson Kate Davis.
From October 17, anyone who subscribes to the premium package with 4K resolution on Disney+ will have to pay 299 kroner per month, i.e. 60 kroner more than now. In this case, the annual tariff will cost 2,990 kroner instead of the current 2,390 kroner.
The standard rate is 199 kroner per month. It has limitations: you can subscribe to Full HD video and 5.1 sound for up to two viewers at the same time.

Last but not least, this year he adjusted the price list and the Max channel, which was transformed from HBO Max. He increased the price of the basic tariff from 199 crowns to 219 crowns and launched the premium tariff for 299 crowns per month.
According to an analysis by Axocom, the number of Czech viewers using Steam services increased by about 100,000 to 2.6 million in 2023. The largest market share is occupied by Neftlix, while major players include Max and Disney+, as well as SkyShowTime, which also saw a price increase, and the Voyo and Prima+ services.
