Two new restaurants in Morristown are now open and ready to go, according to an announcement Tuesday from the Matawan-based restaurant. Stoney Brook Construction Groupresponsible for the construction of these venues.
Located adjacent to each other and sharing a state-of-the-art kitchen, Parkside Tavern and Sushi Lounge showcase Stone Creek Construction Group’s ability to provide versatile commercial space.
The two restaurants are the second and third the company has built in Morristown, the first being David Burke’s 1776 restaurant and the adjacent Topgolf Swing Suites.
Shelby Gasek, vice president and partner at Stone Creek Construction Group, said, “Morristown’s restaurant industry is vibrant and growing. This is a great opportunity to deliver three concepts, and we are excited to contribute to the town’s growth.”
Parkside Tavern’s design was inspired by European neighborhood pubs, and the menu includes classic comfort food and a variety of beverages. Warm colors and rich wood accents are used throughout the space, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
Next door, Sushi Lounge is the latest outpost of this trendy brand. The sleek, modern design brings a vibrant vibe to the restaurant and lounge area, which serves Japanese fusion cuisine and freshly prepared sushi.
This 6,500-square-foot, dual-restaurant project is located on Speedwell Avenue. Formerly an office space, Stone Creek was responsible for removing the building shell and providing extensive mechanical, electrical and plumbing services to transform the space into a restaurant with a full kitchen. Interior renovations include high-end millwork details in both restaurants.
