The University of the West Indies St Augustine Law School hosted the 4th UWI Oil and Gas Law Conference with the theme “Towards a Just Transition.” Meeting on June 28 and June 29 from 8:00am to 6:00pm exist Hilton Trinidad Convention Center, Port of Spain.
At this conference, participants will receive high-quality professional training to build and develop expertise in areas such as energy transition, energy taxation, jobs and just transition, energy pricing and efficiency, energy technology and new growth opportunities; receive guidance and assistance to develop capacity and knowledge in matters affecting the oil and gas industry; and gain a forum to openly discuss the effectiveness of laws and regulations governing the industry in Trinidad and Tobago and advance legal research on topical issues.
The conference will be led by leading experts in the field of oil and gas law, including local, regional and international energy experts working in the field and in academia, such as:
