Sóldís Vala Ívarsdóttir, 18, is Miss Iceland 2024. She was crowned at the Gamla bio competition in Kvard.
This is the ninth time the pageant has been held. Lilja Sif Pétursdóttir won the title last year. The second place went to Helena Hafthórsdóttir O’Connor, who won the title of Miss Iceland Supranational.
Emilia Þóra Ólafsdóttir, 18, has been chosen as Miss Iceland Supranational 2024.

“Soldis Vala is 18 years old and has completed her second year of high school. Her goal is to study to become a pilot after high school. Soldis has a wide range of interests, but her main interests are exercise and health-related issues. She practiced gymnastics for ten years, starting at the age of two, before switching to soccer. She also had a keen interest in fashion and makeup from a young age. Independent and ambitious, Soldis is open to enhancing her strengths in different areas and is not shy about stepping out of her comfort zone.”
Emilia Ola Olafsdottir
“Emilia Þóra was born in February 2006, so she is 18 years old. For as long as she can remember, she has been determined, motivated and involved in social life. She grew up in Grindavik but now lives in Alftanes. She is about to start her third and final year of studies at the Innovation and Arts program at Archipelago Business School. Emilíu has always dreamed of becoming a great actor and singer and plans to work towards this in the future. She is very interested in the community and loves to learn new things. Her main goals in life are to have healthy relationships and to be a role model.”
