Signed an agreement with Tajikistan worth more than $1 billion

Tokayev pointed out that the relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are developing rapidly and highly appreciated the signing of the Treaty on Alliance Relations, which marks the beginning of a new stage of cooperation between the two countries in the future.

Afterwards, the President met with the Prime Minister of Tajikistan to discuss the results of the business forum held yesterday. In particular, a number of documents were signed to increase trade with Tajikistan to $2 billion. Overall, the two countries’ trade volume increased in the first half of the year. After the official event, the two heads of state visited the fruit and vegetable exhibition and got to know the dishes of various countries, including various types of pilaf prepared by chefs with unique tastes.

— Signing agreements with a total value of more than $1 billion. This is gratifying. We agreed yesterday to work together to increase bilateral trade to $2 billion. I think the two governments should consider all directions that will help increase trade between the two countries.
