Ms. Samara Anatole “Mara” Knowles, 39 years old
A resident of Lowe Bay, North Andros Island, The Bahamas, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Princess Margaret Hospital.
She leaves behind 20 brothers: Pike, Minister McKee, Deacon Jim, Norman, Sheldon, Emick, Rufus, Rudolph 11, Rudolph 111, Koko Knowles, O’Hara, Michael, Elvin, Jimmy Lee, DeArgo, Philip Bradley Knowles and Rick Russell, foster brothers: Deacon Steve Hannah and Duke Moss, 5 sisters: Virginia, Darnell, Martha, Felissa Hendrick (née Knowles) and Janet Knowles, numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends including residents of the entire settlement of North Andros and Lowesound on North Andros Island.
Marla’s funeral is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Lowesound, North Andros Island.
