Several countries hold International Day of Support for Gaza

August 3, 2024. – In the framework of the National and International Day of Support for Gaza and Prisoners, numerous protests and marches were held in several cities of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian flag and photos of prisoners at the Tel Aviv detention center were used at the vigil.

Likewise, those present chanted slogans condemning the crimes of the occupation and its ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, as well as violations of the rights of Palestinian prisoners.

The Palestinian Authority for the Protection of Prisoners and the Palestinian National Army declared August 3, 2024 as the National and International Day of Support for Gaza and Prisoners.

The total number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupier detention centres exceeds 9,900.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip rose to 39,550, including more than 16,300 children, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
