A serious accident occurred on Moorea this Sunday morning.
A young woman in Haapiti was involved in a motorcycle accident on PK 31. It was not a priori an accident involving another vehicle.
Emergency services arrived at the scene at 6.25am. After initially being evacuated to the hospital centre on the Sister Islands, the 22-year-old woman was eventually released by helicopter to CHPF in Taoone. Her life prognosis is in danger.
