The Seoul International Drama Awards has announced the nominees for two exciting awards. A-list Korean actors such as Kim Soo-hyun, Byeon Woo-seok, and Kim Ji-won will compete for nominations alongside stars from other Asian countries. Meanwhile, NewJeans, SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan, and more will also be competing for the OST award.
Nominees for Best Actor from South Korea are Kim Soo-hyun (Queen of Tears), Byeon Woo-seok (Lovely Runner), Cha Eun-woo (Beautiful World), Song Kang (My Devil), EXO’s Suho (Gone Prince), Lee Junho (King the Land) and Chae Jong-hyup (Cast Away).
The nominees for Best Actress are Kim Ji-won (Queen of Tears), Kim Hye-yoon (Cute Runner), Park Bo-young (Daily Sunshine), Yoona (King the Land), and Ko Yoon-jung (Moving).
Actors from six other Asian countries will also be competing for the Asia Star Award. Some of the notable actors include Thai actor Blue Pongtiwat from Ready, Set, Love and Poompat Iamsamang, Singaporean actor Desmond Tan, Filipino actress Kim Chiu, Malaysian actress Emily Chan and Indonesian actress Ochi Rosediana.
The awards ceremony will be held on September 25th.
