Second session of Parliament. What is so special about this political season?

Deputies summarized the work of the legislature at a joint session today and made some criticisms of the government. The parliamentary spokesman said that the cabinet proposes draft laws every year and, in the end, deputies have to elaborate and rewrite them. Koshanov was not satisfied with the answers to the deputies’ questions.

The deadlines for submitting the deputies’ conclusions on amendments are too long. Therefore, in most cases, deputies have limited time to deal with the quality of the documents. Deputies also called on officials to be as open as possible and, in particular, not to hide from journalists.

According to Corita, this year the Senate and the House of Representatives reviewed 179 draft laws, of which 102 were passed. Currently, the parliament is discussing 71 draft laws. After the summer vacation, the delegation will carry out a series of work on budget, taxation, construction, water and the new digital code.
