New conditions for obtaining Umrah visa:

1. Valid passport: Applicants must hold a valid passport with a validity period of not less than six months from the date of arrival in the Kingdom. 2. Submit application through the “NSK” platform: Visa applications must be submitted through the “NSK” electronic platform, filling in all the required data and attaching the necessary documents. 3. Book an approved Umrah itinerary: An approved Umrah itinerary must be booked through one of the travel agencies approved by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. 4. Comprehensive medical insurance: You must obtain comprehensive medical insurance that covers the period of stay in the Kingdom and includes treatment expenses in case of emergency. 5. No security restrictions: Applicants must not have any security restrictions or criminal records in any country.

Nationalities prohibited from obtaining Umrah visa:

The ministry confirmed that there is no official ban on any Arab nationality from obtaining an Umrah visa. However, some applicants may be rejected due to personal security assessment or if they do not meet the required conditions.

Validity period of the new Umrah visa:

The ministry set the validity period of the new Umrah visa at three months from the date of issuance, during which pilgrims can stay in the kingdom for up to 30 days.

*Electronic Umrah visa: Applicants can obtain an electronic Umrah visa through the “Nisk” platform, allowing them to enter and exit the Kingdom through all ports. * Umrah visa on arrival: Citizens of some countries can obtain an Umrah visa upon arrival at the Kingdom’s airports, based on bilateral agreements signed between the Kingdom and these countries.
