Tegucigalpa – Due to the current weather conditions, the Permanent Emergency Committee (COPECO) declared a green alert this Tuesday in the province of Santa Barbara.
The measure was due to heavy rains causing flooding, landslides, growth and overflowing of rivers and streams.
The alert remains in effect as of 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The Civil Protection Organization advises the public to stay informed of the situation and follow the instructions of the authorities.
