Isheja Butera, the head of Kiss FM radio, will succeed Cléophas Barore as head of the National Media Agency (RBA).
This cabinet meeting was held on Friday, August 23, 2024, and the Secretary of the Ministry of Sports (MINISPORTS), Zephanie Niyonkuru, resigned.
Zephanie Niyonkuru was appointed Secretary of State at the Ministry of Sports in January 2023, replacing Shema Maboko Didier, who was suspended by President Paul Kagame in September 2022.
Thursday’s cabinet meeting, the first of President Kagame’s new five-year term, also approved the government’s plan (NST2). Measures to prevent monkeypox were also taken.
