According to Deutsche Presse-Agentur, Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with Chinese State Council President (Premier) Li Qiang at the Kremlin in Moscow, the capital of Russia on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Putin said: “Thanks to the efforts of our Chinese friends and the importance our two governments attach to economic and trade relations, our trade relations are developing and growing successfully.”

According to Russia’s Sputnik news agency, Putin said he had reviewed the results of the meeting between the Russian and Chinese heads of government held earlier today.

Putin said the two sides discussed in detail the full scope of trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation between Moscow and Beijing. “A number of bilateral documents aimed at mutually beneficial cooperation were signed,” he added.

Russian-Chinese relations have developed significantly, especially at the economic level, including strategic cooperation in energy, aircraft, construction of the International Space Station, and aerospace.
