Cristiano Ronaldo, the 39-year-old forward for Saudi club Al Nasr and the Portugal national team, is unhappy with the financial difficulties his current club is experiencing, Essential Sports reports.

According to sources, the Saudi club’s management asked local investment funds to provide funds to strengthen the team, but was rejected. It is worth noting that the Portuguese striker was aware of the team’s cash crisis and expressed dissatisfaction with it. Ronaldo even tried to organize meetings with the club’s top management several times, but was rejected.

Ronaldo moved to the Saudi club in the winter of 2023, with a contract until the summer of 2025. In total, he played 66 games for Nasr, scoring 61 goals and providing 16 assists.

Currently, Nasr is ranked eighth in the Saudi Championship, with one point after the first round of the new season.

It was previously reported that Al Nasr’s management asked Ronaldo to remain silent about the team’s financial problems.

In addition, the 39-year-old Portuguese also attended the launch of the Saudi club’s new home jersey.
