Ridwan Kamil welcomes Jakarta regional elections: no empty boxes: the more candidates the better: Okezone Megapolitan

Jakarta – Jakarta Governor Candidate, Ridwan Kamil (RK) welcomes the large number of candidates running in the Jakarta gubernatorial election (Pilgub) in 2024. According to the man now known as Bang Emil, this is good for democracy.

“I think the more, the better for democracy,” said Bang Emil as he prepared to register with KPUD Jakarta in Central Jakarta, Wednesday (August 28, 2024).

He still remembers the time when he participated in the Bandung Pierwakot and West Java gubernatorial elections. “I remember there were eight pairs of mayoral candidates, four pairs during the West Java gubernatorial election, and now thankfully there are three pairs,” RK explained.

RK hopes that Jakarta residents will be able to choose the right leadership candidate to solve Jakarta’s problems. “Hopefully, the people of Jakarta will be able to see among so many couples which couples they think are suitable for their needs to solve Jakarta’s problems,” RK explained.

“We also have a lot of ideas, from big to small, we have prepared about 70. Of course, we will present and provide these ideas to the people of Jakarta in time,” he concluded.
