Musonera Germain, who is expected to become a member of Congress, has been arrested
The RIB announced that Musonela was arrested for suspected serious crimes, including what he did in the former Nyabikenke commune (now in Kiyumba district), where he was said to have lived at Interahamwe checkpoint and was also the youth manager of the commune.
Some say that Kimonyo’s son Musonera Germain also owns a gun which was given to him at the birth of the Ndiza Battalion, which was founded by the then Prime Minister of the country (who called himself Abatabazi Jean Kambanda), and Musonera owned the gun. Whatever he had was given to him.
Musonera Germain was accused by survivors of the genocide against Tutsi in the Kiyumba district of the former Nyabikenke municipality of involvement in the death of Munganyende Jeanette’s father, Kayihura Jean Marie Vianney, who was killed by Musonera when he entered Munganyende Jeanette’s bar to buy drinks and killed him.
Musonera, who was in charge of youth affairs in Nyabikenke at the time and was also selling goods in the barracks set up by Nyabikenke workers, is said to have instigated the Interahamwe attack, while Kayihura came to buy goods. After they laughed at him and stripped him of his clothes, he was taken to Kanyanza Cave and killed.
Information that appeared on the walls of RIB X showed that the group closed down Musonera, who was to become a member of parliament among the RPF Inkotanyi candidates, and removed him from the list of people who had to take the oath because of genocide crimes, including the killing of Kayihura Jean Marie Vianney.
We will continue to follow this story.
