Repair work on units 3 and 4 of the Bishkek thermal power plant will be completed this autumn

AKIPRESS website – Repair work at Bishkek Thermal Power Plant Unit 3 will be completed on October 1, and repair work at Unit 4 will be completed on November 1, CHPP told Tazabek.

The units have not undergone major repairs since they were put into operation seven years ago, and their design capacity has been reduced from 300 MW to 220 MW.

The CHPP Press Office explained that the restoration contract amount is tentative and will be finalized after the overhaul is completed.

The city government previously reported that more than 300 Chinese workers are currently overhauling Units 3 and 4.
