The U-13 Regional Team Championship started on July 18 with 14 teams participating in two groups, with eight teams advancing to the quarter-finals.
A total of 42 group stage matches were played, 28 of which were won, 9 of which were draws, and 5 of which were draws. A total of 93 goals were scored in the group stage, and the most famous referee showed 98 yellow cards and 5 red cards.
It is worth noting that the Under-13 Regional Team Championship is being held for the first time, with the Saudi Football Federation aiming to discover, track and develop talents so that they can represent the national team in the future.
The Referees Committee competed in the U-13 Regional Team Championships, with a total of 32 referees officiating the matches, with an average age of 20 to 25. The competition provided an opportunity for up-and-coming referees to gain more experience and exposure in the field. Including 7 referees from the Referees Academy, who also led the Premier League Youth Division competition.
It is worth noting that the official club players participating in this tournament are 233 players from 37 clubs, 73 players selected from 10 regional training centers, and 52 players from 17 private clubs and recognized academies.
