At Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, we live and breathe RHG’s values of people, community and planet every day as part of our ongoing support for responsible business.

Recently, the resort successfully completed several responsible business initiatives in Nadi and Bukua Village in the Viti Levu hinterland. Our dedicated team, led by Satya Narayan (Responsible Business Manager), worked with enthusiastic resort guests to engage in meaningful activities to support and revitalize the local community.

Employee Health Checkup

At Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, our people are at the forefront of all our initiatives, so we prioritize the health of our people. We have conducted a comprehensive employee health screening to ensure the well-being of our team members. This program is an important part of our commitment to promoting healthy living and maintaining a productive work environment.

Blood donation activities
We organized a blood drive not only to care for our employees’ health, but also to give back to the community. This event allowed our employees to contribute to an important cause and demonstrated our dedication to social responsibility and community support.

Country School Cooking Class
The Bukuya Village tour included an interactive cooking class by Chef Walter and his culinary team, where the children learned valuable cooking skills in a fun and engaging environment. After the class, a delicious lunch was provided by the resort, which was entertaining and nourishing for the children. During the visit, we also noted some areas for improvement, which are currently planned to be donated later this year.

St. Mina’s Children’s Home
Radisson Blu Resort & Spa has expanded its activities to the St. Mina Children’s Home. Throughout the week, dedicated engineering and landscape design staff worked daily to build a greenhouse for the children’s home and prepare soil for growing vegetables for guests and staff. Volunteers (both staff and resort guests) came together to build a garden designed to promote sustainable living. This initiative not only provides the children with a chance to experience gardening first-hand, but also educates them about the importance of fresh food and self-sufficiency. The garden will serve as a long-term resource for the children, fostering their sense of responsibility and connection to nature.

“We are deeply committed to giving back to the community and promoting sustainable development. These initiatives reflect our ongoing commitment to operating responsibly and the positive impact we want to have on the lives of those around us,” said Charles Homsy, General Manager of Radisson Blu Resort Fiji.

Radisson Blu Resort Fiji is committed to continuing our responsible business initiatives to ensure we make a positive contribution to the community and the environment. We would like to thank all our employees and guests who have participated and made these initiatives a success.
