The Qatar Amateur Radio Association participated in the international amateur radio exhibition “Friedrichshafen” held in Germany from June 28 to 30 last year.
The association’s pavilion attracted a large crowd at the show to learn about the capabilities of the Qatari satellite Es’hail-2, launched in 2018, and the association’s demonstrations during the amateur transmitter exhibition. The satellite received the highest ratings among other demonstrations by radio amateur associations and clubs participating in the exhibition.
In this context; His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Amateur Radio Association, stated that the participation of Association members in such international forums is very important, noting that the Association’s pavilion at the exhibition includes presenting to the world the most important achievements of the country over the past period, as well as the Association’s most important achievements at the hobby level in the region and the world at large.
