Qatari skydiving team wins bronze medal at World Military Skydiving Championships – Doha News

The Qatari team ranked third in the skydiving competition, behind only the United States and Belgium.

The Qatar Airways Sports Committee (QASC) and Special Forces Qatar Skydiving Team won the bronze medal at the CISM World Military Skydiving Championships.

The event was held in Hungary from July 2 to 12 and saw 33 countries participating. Qatar ranked third in the skydiving event, behind Belgium, which ranked first and won the gold medal.

The United States team finished second and took home the silver medal.

Last year, the Qatari team won the gold medal in the cohesive four-person skydiving event at the International Military Sports World Championships held in Spain.

The team ranked first with 141 points, ahead of Spain and Turkey.

Since 2008, the Qatar Skydiving Team has been a prominent presence in the field of aviation sports.

Their most recent achievement is a historic milestone: in October 2022, they entered the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest nighttime formation canopy-related work.

A Qatari team consisting of 37 athletes took part in a skydiving competition held in Zephyrus, Florida, USA.
