Today, the Qatar Olympic Committee announced the signing of a sports partnership agreement with ASICS, a leading Japanese company in the field of sporting goods, to produce apparel kits for the Qatari team participating in the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
The partnership agreement was signed by Sheikha Asma bint Thani Al Thani, Director of the Council’s Marketing and International Cooperation Sector, and Mr. Seiji Hori, General Manager of Asics Middle East.
Under the agreement, Asics will undertake the task of providing innovative, sustainable and diverse Qatar team clothing for official sports competitions and training during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The Qatari administrative and sports delegation clothing kits include unique features. Burgundy, representing the Qatari flag.
Sheikha Asma bint Thani Al Thani expressed her delight at the signing of the partnership agreement with ASICS, saying: “Our key goal in signing this agreement is to highlight Al-Adam’s upcoming involvement and confirm our role as a leading country in organizing international sporting events.”
Seiji Hori, General Manager of Asics Middle East, said: “We believe in the power of sport to inspire people and enhance their physical and mental health, and we are proud to support Team Qatar athletes on their journey to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.”
