Qatar National Library receives collection of books on Latin American history and culture

Qatar National Library has received a collection of books on the history and culture of Latin American countries, which will provide the library with additional resources on the cultures of these countries.
On the occasion, the Library held today a special ceremony to highlight the progress of cultural exchange processes and close relations between the State of Qatar and Latin American countries, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, Minister of State and Director of the National Library of Qatar, His Excellency Mr. José Benzakin Perea, Ambassador of the Republic of Peru, and several senior officials.
The gift is part of the Library’s initiative to strengthen the bonds of BroadCast Unitedlectual and cultural exchange and consolidate cultural relations with diplomatic missions resident in the country. On the occasion, His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari stressed the importance of this donation as part of the Library’s efforts in the field of cultural diplomacy, saying: “This donation embodies the spirit of diplomatic and cultural cooperation between the State of Qatar and friendly countries, as well as the State of Qatar’s open policy towards the world.”
His Excellency expressed the Qatar National Library’s gratitude and appreciation to friendly countries that contribute to strengthening its mission of spreading knowledge, expanding cultural and BroadCast Unitedlectual horizons, and promoting a better understanding of South America’s rich culture and unique heritage.
