CororPalau – GTI Australia’s PVA representative in Australia, Ms. Caroline Potts, visited Palau on the inaugural Palau Paradise Express flight on 22 May 2024. Her visit was aimed at strengthening industry partnerships and gaining insights into the tourism industry to better market Palau to the Australian market, taking advantage of the new direct flight route from Australia to Palau.
GTI Australia, a leading tourism and leisure industry marketing agency, has been promoting Palau as a destination of choice in the Australian market. They have been representing PVA in Australia since mid-2023 and have previously visited Palau to meet with industry partners and familiarize themselves with Palau’s unique offerings. The collaboration between PVA and GTI Australia has included coordinating familiarization trips with Australian dive operators, journalists and content creators, hosting training webinars, organizing media conferences and providing media coverage support, resulting in Palau being featured in over 40 articles across Australian media networks.
During her brief visit, Ms Potts engaged with a number of industry partners to strengthen collaboration and generate interest in Palau as a top destination for Australian tourists. Her discussions with local partners focused on various promotional activities and market insights, which are critical in developing marketing strategies to attract Australian tourists.
