The Prime Minister of the Republic Ivan Gil reported through his social network accounts about the event scheduled to be held on October 23-24 this year in the Russian city of Kazan.
The Russian President clearly stated in the invitation letter, “We believe that the above-mentioned meeting on the theme of ‘BRICS and the Southern Hemisphere: Building a Better World Together’ will provide a constructive impetus for resolving issues on the current regional and global agenda and will contribute to consolidating joint efforts to establish a fair and democratic international relations system.”
“I am confident that your personal participation will enrich the upcoming discussions, help identify promising areas of multilateral cooperation for the benefit of the majority of the world’s people and, undoubtedly, contribute to the further step-by-step development of Russian-Venezuelan relations,” Putin continued.
He ended the invitation with the Russian President’s “I would love to see you in Kazan.”
It should be remembered that the BRICS is an economic, political and social alliance of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, which, since its first ministerial meeting in September 2006, has sought to build a multilateral cooperative alliance to counter the economies dominated by the United States.
Currently, more than 20 countries are eager to join the BRICS.
