Psychotic woman kills her own child

The Zimbabwe Republic Police has confirmed a tragic incident in which a 20-year-old woman killed her 18-month-old son because he kept crying.
On August 14, 2024, police in Nyamandlovu, Lupane Province, arrested 20-year-old Siphethebuhle Nkomo on charges of murdering her child.
It is alleged that Nkomo strangled his son to death when he could not calm him down as he was crying at 4 Zimdabule Village, Nyamandlovudeli Municipality.
In another equally disturbing case, on August 14, 2024, Fambisai Tavengerwei (50), a suspected mental patient, reportedly hit his 2-year-old son on the head several times with a piece of wood in Madzore village, Nyakunhuwa, Zaka Governorate, killing him.
