Despite defensive problems, PSV Eindhoven won away to Heracles Almelo. In the second half, the champions came back from a deficit: 1-3.
Brian De Keersmaecker gave Heracles Almelo the lead in the fifth minute. The captain was awarded a penalty after Frederick Opegaard fouled Brian Limbombe.
After a weak first half, PSV equalized in the 52nd minute. Ivan Messik fired the ball into his own net with Gus Till, who was replacing Malik Tillman, close by.
It was not Messi’s game, as Bakayoko gave PSV the lead in the 59th minute through the legs of a Slovak defender. Couhaib Driouech decided the final score in the 90th minute.
