During a visit to the “La Urbina” Integrated Diagnostic Center, President Nicolás Maduro handed over on Sunday to the Miranda community five Integrated Diagnostic Centers (CDIs) and the same number of Integrated Rehabilitation Units (SRIs), which have various specialties and will provide free quality health care.

The total population benefiting from the “La Urbina” CDI in Petare is approximately 39,000 patients, covering 12,000 families, the largest number of beneficiaries of this type of project.

The National President described the CDI in Petare as “composed of three floors, beautiful, careful and majestic”, and explained that, in addition, “we delivered CDI and SRI La California DR as a whole. Humberto Fernández Morán, but also CDI and SRI La Switzerland, CDI and SRI Barrio Bolívar, located on the main street of the community (…), and CDI and SRI Palo Verde, located in the José Félix Ribas neighborhood. Health is a public right and no one will privatize it,” he stressed.

Maduro noted that 90.6% of reports related to community health have been processed after being received.

He recalled what he called the policies of “broken, old barbaric capitalism” that were designed to privatize health.

He also said he had managed to obtain free vaccines thanks to the protection measures for the people during the Covid-19 pandemic, while the opposition and the far right have called for the vaccines not to be sold to the Venezuelan government.

“For this battered fascist ideology, health must be privatized,” he said.

Fortunately, they did not bring any vaccines from western countries that could cause physical harm due to side effects.
