The Urugwiro village chief’s office announced that they discussed improving normal joint relations between the two countries’ militaries. The Chief of Defence Staff General Mubarak Muganga also attended the talks.

Earlier, Lieutenant General Huang Xucong, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Chinese Armed Forces, had held talks with Juvenal Marizamunda, Minister of Defense of Rwanda, together with the Minister of Defense of the Rwandan Armed Forces, General Dr. Mubarah.

During the talks, the leaders of the two countries focused on discussing Luxembourg-China relations and decided to continue to strengthen Luxembourg-China relations and maintain good relations between the two countries, especially military relations.

The delegation led by Lieutenant General Huang Xucong, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Chinese Armed Forces, visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial and the Centre to End the Tutsi Genocide, and the Gabiro Military Training Centre.

The relationship between Rwanda and China is normal and is reflected in many different activities, including medicine, education, agriculture, technology and various infrastructure.
