Chief Inspector Euler Matari, acting spokesman for the Luanda provincial national police command, said that citizen Elzira dos Prazeres Manuel Zonga, 39, who was shot dead, was recovering well in one of the hospital units in the capital, where he was hospitalized.
This was a police officer who suffered head injuries after he was attacked in an alley in Wrangell last Friday amid public outrage.
Euler Matari explained that the disturbance prompted the company to launch an investigation process to clarify the root causes of the incident, aiming to hold those involved accountable.
